“Brothers Across Borders” was recorded in the Turkish cities of Gaziantep and Izmir – and some parts were recorded close to the Syrian border.
“Brothers Across Borders” is not an ordinary film, in the sense that everything (or almost everything) should be seen in first person. Which meant that the main character was also sort of the camera man. To enable the characters/actors to move freely, we designed a special point-of-view helmet, so they could record everything from their point of view, while being able to walk and talk, as they would normally do.
